We started West Village Farms because we love to eat, and we believe that freshness equates to the most wholesome and best tasting foods. Our expertise stems from growing edible greens, flowers, and plants for celebrated chefs and restaurants in the San Francisco Bay Area. We developed products that were served in Michelin-rated and James Beard-awarded restaurants. We are now in the Pacific Northwest to complement the already thriving and diverse food culture of the region. We grow, harvest, and deliver our greens fresh from our indoor farm in Vancouver, WA.
As an indoor farm, we create a friendly and contaminant-free environment for our greens. We don’t apply any pesticides, regardless of whether they are organic or conventional. Our careful farming practices ensure that we produce a clean product, so we choose not to pre-wash our greens with additional chemicals. We use non-GMO seeds from a wide variety of culinary cultures, and combine traditional greenhouse techniques with vertical farming to help conserve water and space. This is our recipe for fresh, wholesome, local greens.
